Nuytsia in bloom
The lovely bright showy flowers of the Nuytsia tree, which is parasitic native plant of Australia. The blossom is most attractive to insect life and the blooms last for quite a period, colouring to golden glow when the sun hits.

This was a new one for me but I’ve always lived on the eastern seaboard! The bright yellow flowers contrast very well with the blue sky.
