Australian native plant

Low compact or sprawling to upright shrub . Flowers are purply blue and bloom August – October in clay, sandy clay or loam soil. Winter-wet plains and inundated area.

This plant was found in the conservation and threatened garden in Kings Park, Perth WA, in normal growing conditions late October

    Thank Tom, there was only one flower and one bud and on the ‘inside’ of the plant and I didn’t think the garden’s curator would like me climbing over the fence rope. I would have liked to have found a better photo, but thought to put this up as it is a rare listed plant.
