My parents gave me an SLR camera for my 21st birthday and I loved and used it for years. I resisted digital for a while until the DSLR cameras got down to affordable levels and bought my first one in December 2005. That was the EOS350D, after a couple of years I upgraded to the Canon EOS450D. Now I’m using the Canon EOS60D.
When I changed to digital I thought I would be taking less photos of my home in Guernsey as I wouldn’t have ends of film to use up after holidays – I couldn’t have been more wrong!
So the photos here are a selection from Guernsey and my travels around the world. As I work in travel I’ve been fortunate to visit many countries of the world and my friends think I’ve been everywhere. It’s not true – there are still plenty more unvisited countries to explore out there, although sometimes the best shots are right on the doorstep…
