siren

Demon of the deep
Of whose heart many seek
Thine forbidden powers
Thy body which towers
Thine eyes that see through me
Thy voice with which you seduce me
O siren of the water
I could have been a father
Had you not drawn me in
Now my new life shall begin
You made me have this life
Making me take you as my wife
O demon of the deep
Of whose heart I no longer seek
For now you have doomed me
After you had used me
To make you immortal
No I shall die on the isle
In all the while
You shall live forever

My first poem to ever be published. May not be my best, but I was only thirteen when I wrote it.
