I’m twenty years old and in the Navy. I’m unfortunately married (see “Not enough”) and soon to be divorced. While some of my poetry is about the wonders of parenthood and children in general, I have not been blessed with another life. I suppose that could be viewed as a good thing at this point in my life. I know in my soul that I will be a mother some day, with the right man, but now is not the time. I must learn to stand on my own before I will be able to bring something so precious into my care.
I’ve been writing poetry for about ten years now. My first poem got published when I was thirteen(see “Siren”). I am also currently looking into getting a compilation of my poetry published. As soon as I get through all the hoops of Public Affairs, that is.
I’m a pretty open person, so if you have any questions, feel free to ask. And don’t be afraid to be brutally honest with my work. Without critisizm, how can one get better at their craft? Thanks for looking!
