fruit, kaimaha, life, still
Lovely shot and composition; the cherry doesn’t swamp the rose at all – really compliment each other.
Thanks Paulette, this is one of my still life fav’s mainly because I put so much effort in trying to get things right with my large format camera. The cherry was delicious too if I recall, well worth the wait!
Thanks Anna :)
Very creative…I would have never thought of putting the two together.Large format rules!! :-]
Thank you for your comment Von :) What do you mean about ‘putting the two together?’ Is it . . . the cherry and the large format camera? or . . . the cherry and the fabric it is resting on?During that period I did a close-up of a chestnut using large format . . . which was also very effective. Would love to do some more 5×4 close-ups but the thought of setting up the dark room is a little daunting at the moment . . . but who knows maybe I’ll surprise myself one of these days, or nights!
Very nice composition and delicate colors! Hmmm, I believe you it was a really delicious cherry :)> maybe I’ll surprise myself one of these days, or nights!hehe, I too photograph many (too many?) of my still lives between 2 and 3am when children are sleeping and everything is still in the house ;)
Thanks for your comment Lenka. Yes, the quite of the night is often the most productive for me . . . I just wish there was more hours in the day (or maybe I just need to be more time efficient!).
This is just beautiful
Simply stunning :)
