Reticulation
This was for another photography project.
if you look closely at the backround, you can see its slightly distorted, thats because when i was developing the film, i used a process called reticulation.
for anyone who doesnt know what that is, i’ll explain.
right after using developer on your film, you have to fill and empty the film tank 3 times with cold water, but for reticulation, you fill it first with ice water, then boiling water, ice water again, and boiling water again, then finish with the rest of the film process.
what the hot and cold water does is it will either crack your film, make it grainy, or distort certain areas.
