The main entrance at the abandoned Memorial Pet Park outside of Detroit, MI.
I spent hours walking the woods and finding hundreds of monuments of man’s best friend.
The large tombstone in back is a tribute to “War Dogs” that gave their lives in service to America in World War I and II. There used to be a bronze German Shepard statue attached to the top of it but that was stolen decades ago…

Color shifted the image to give it a faded Ektachrome feel.
