I am a professor of speech-language pathology at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, USA. I live near Oxford on land that was part of a land grant in the early 1800’s, and the original deed to my property was signed by Thomas Jefferson. I have since donated my land to a land trust. My home is called “Wildflower”, and most of my nature photos have been taken there. I garden extensively and use no pesticides. I like the challenge of photographing butterflies and birds, and I like to take and to view photographs that have a sense of humor-especially photographs of animals. I like photographing cats most of all. I also am an active biker and astronomer.
