Extinctions.......the series
Here is the whole set in the order they were painted.
I’ve included self-landscape at the end because, although it is not one of the main set, it played a part it ironing out some of the ideas.
04 was destroyed, 05 became Extwave, 03 and Self-landscape have been sold (why anyone would want to buy a portrait of me is anyones guess!:)
The rest of the originals are up for sale on Sam’s excellent web gallery at arts-fine – as soon as the two latest ones are properly dry, they will be joining them.

A brilliant collection Kafka, great to see them all together. I love the beautiful deep textured blues and yellows contrasted with the fine brushwork and intense white and red. Really wonderful work, a constant delight.

how about that, my faves are also no 4 and 5, thanks to technology they do still exist, alas without texture. of the paintings that still exist in real life, I think the self-portrait with the ostrich-riding pregnant alien is my fave, and I would hang that on my wall regardless of who the goateed blue person is supposed to be ;-)
