You live in such a beautiful part of world.

Brilliant captures Kafka, isse the road over from Llanrhaedr to Bala there i think?

There are a few pics of the Aran mountains which I think that road runs through.

Wow – September is stunning. All the landscape is pretty dramatic but I have to say in black and white doesn’t quite lure me for a holiday. x

  • kafka replied

Hi Carmen(x) – Sept is an ancient burial site called Pentre Ifan – the hill behind it is called Carn Ingli (the hill of the angels) – it’s wild, bleak, dark, cold and wet most of the time (a bit like me:-)))
Any holidaymakers around here usually end up like the guy in the Wicker Man…....LOL

The wicker man – oh god! Have you read any of the Duncton Chronicles… I would say this is the landscape.

  • kafka replied

I think I read one years ago (memory has gone….too much beer)
did it have something to do with eagles? (probably mixed it up with something else)

Nigel, I think the black and white is great. We saw a program on Finland last night and my hubby likes places like Montana, freezing cold and mountains, (I like) but the cold.. coming from sub tropical weather would be a great holiday during your summer.
