exciting stuff Kafka, great texture and colours. Love the way the familiar spine like forms seem to grow out what appears like a bay in the bottom right. Can’t wait to see what develops from the preparatory studies.

Thank you Nathan – I’m getting these to a finished state for a show in a few weeks time – when it’s over I shall put them all together and see what I come up with!

aaah, the bones! really looking forwards to seing the oil, how large is large scale?

Hi Marie! (x) – not sure yet but probably about 6’ x 4’ – the big paintings will be in oil on canvas so should look very different – lots of transparent layers and the usual stuff! These acrylics might turn out to be the finished thing – I’m using just primary process colours again and I can’t believe how clean and crisp the mixes are.
