Hey M ! (just don’t ask for an encore :-)))...this was a tough one!)......x
Marie Magnusson
so vibrant! makes me want to fly away
I really like the gauge, reaching heights beyond preset boundaries (or did the hand just fall off perhaps…) it seems to me very wild and free, maybe that is, yet again, only in my eyes, considering the spine and extinction title and all. I don’t know, to me it seems more… jubilant, flying over a roaring waterfall. anyway, I like it ;-)
kafka replied
You’ve got it again Marie! – flying and clocks had a lot to do with it :-)
thank you for thoughtful comment….........x
Duncan Waldron
I’d love to see a full exhibition of these originals. They are so vibrant and full of possibility. Always a pleasure to see a new one.
kafka replied
Thank you Duncan! – A full exhibition would be great if I can ever keep enough of them together to show in one place at a time.

Deborah Milligan
stunning work kafka, and I appreciated being able to follow the journey you undertook with it. Thanks for providing the link. I love the contrast between tightly bound and freefall that it seems to say to me.

Thank you Deb – it was a bit of a slog getting this one finished – I’ve still got to re-stretch it and put a few last touches to it, but I’m pleased with the way it turned out in the end :-)

I enjoyed the insight into your process and it is good to see the paintings at the head of your RB portfolio once more. Nothing wrong with the photographs – they are excellent – I just happen to prefer the paintings :-)
kafka replied
Thank you Dave – I prefer to keep the paintings up top as well (I post just new photos for a week or so)
Karin Taylor

What constantly blows my mind about your work is that it blows my mind while I am not even standing in front of the actual work in person!

Kalfa. Excellent work. I love the strong purity of the hues. I see a chasm of endless dept where I am falling, unable to stop, or turn back from my inevitable demise. I would call this pure abstract art. Great job. Good luck
