Homage to Fallen Feathers

Homage to Fallen Feathers belongs to the following groups:

All Things Poetic, Artistic, Philosophical

The angels give birth to your flight
Gravity revolves and sanity evolves
Along the zigzag journey
You take when you fall

Like the wind you cannot be mine
But through your brushings upon my cheek
I can follow you to the nameless places you go
Though I feel I have been there before

I am not as swift as an angel
For my body is bound to the earth
But through you I see gravity itself
In a gaze of union in motion

But tell me if how I see you
Has meaning in your world
For how does the weightless, know that weight exists;
And how does the journey know that time persists

In your weightless world, maybe you’ll dissolve
Without ever knowing
that you fell from the sky.
