Moon Birdy
In Colombia live the Embera, an indigenous people that still upholds the traditions and knowledge of their ancestors. They know of Ankastor, a big white bird that once brought two women to the heavenly realms from where they smuggled two maize (corn) kernels with them on their way back to earth. This is how the Embera came to make corn one of their primary food staples.
