I am an amateur photographer and artist living in the Pacific Northwest of the USA.
A prolific hiker, I come across wilderness few have seen. My goal is to capture the experience and bring it home for others to share the beauty nature has to offer. My inner city park photos reflect man’s ability to combine nature with man made structure and form to create visual harmony.
My second focus is in abstract figure work. I work in acrylic and pastels, frequently mixing the two to create my pieces. I also add texture to my paints to build up areas within the painting adding a third dimension to the surface.
