Aguasabon River and Falls by

The Aguasabon River and Falls are in Thunder Bay District, Ontario, Canada. The river originates at Chorus Lake and empties into Lake Superior near the community of Terrace Bay.

The Aguasabon is 70 kilometres (43 mi) in length, and plunges down 30 metres (98 ft) at the Aguasabon Falls. The river follows fractures in the 2.6 billion-year-old bedrock, and the exposed rock is granodiorite. The Rosetta Stone was carved out of granodiorite, and Plymouth Rock was a glacial erratic of this kind.

About k253

My love of motorcycling allowed me to cover good many miles of blacktop within this country and Canada.

Every now and then I take a photo, write an article, short story, poem, that I think is worth sharing and pass it along within a media such as this: I hope you enjoy my attempts.
