Shadow Photography is the product of my husband David and I. David is in charge of……….well, nothing at this stage, and I am the photographer, marketer, designer, photo editor, bookkeeper and inventor of creative ideas.

We live in Perth, Western Australia with our two rescue dogs, Hobbes and Ajax. Our businesses namesake Shadow passed away a few years ago and has since been joined by our beloved Bear. We have two rescued kittens, Beamer and Amaretto, and not to forget our much-loved galah, Sushi and weiro Steelo.

I favour digital photography due to its quick turn around to get the finished product to the customer, and it’s simplicity to use. I use Canon camera equipment and a custom built computer for digital format. I am also qualified for film and prefer Minolta camera equipment for this type of photography.

I prefer working closely with my customers. This normally involves meeting them prior to a shoot to ensure that I capture the essence of my subject and ultimately meet my clients’ needs. In saying that I may be open to projects where clients may not be readily available for whatever reason. I am able to be unobtrusive in my approach without compromising my level of effort. You will enjoy my easy-going nature, energy levels and sense of humour.

I specialise in location photography however I have plenty of experience in a variety of shoots. I am prepared to help people celebrate all occasions in picture. This includes weddings, special functions, balls, graduations, christenings, reunions, engagement parties, commercial and portraiture.
