Honor Among Thieves
From the Manhattan Bridge, New York City, you can look down onto the rooftops of some of the poorest areas in Chinatown framed by Wall St. The juxtaposition is profound and very sad. Original photo © jc warburton 09, Fuji Finepix S8100.

Thank you so much! If you ever want to take a trip up this way let me know. For me it’s a 35-40 minute bus ride, $20.00 round trip. I would be there every day I have off from work if I could afford it, LOL.

Amazing shot, Joan…......I never realized the close proximity of the rich to the poor. How brilliantly observed here.

That reminds me of my involuntary walk through the Bowery in 1992!

I love the title you chose here….....and the image is spectacular….a microcosm of all our society really in a single view. I love the contrasts and the decidedly organic sense of the graffitti on the buildings in china town.

I love this. The contrast between the graffitti covered buildings and the skyscrapers in the background is great. You caught the real NYC in this. Also love the title
