Orange Jelly Fungus by

Cedar-Apple Rust
(Gymnosporangium juniperi-virginianae)

This fungus infects Juniper and Apple trees. The fungus spends part of it’s life cycle on the Juniper tree where it produces these gelatinous, spore producting growths. The other part of it’s life cycle is spent as orange/yellow lesions on leaves and fruit of the apple tree.

An interresting article on this fungus can be found here.
