WOW you really knew where to be here everything is in full peak and the fall is a gusher outstanding job!

Congrats you are now featured in all water in motion

  • Jeff VanDyke replied

Thank you for the feature!! I almost didn’t go here. I went to Cagles Mill Dam and spent a couple hours there. When I decided to leave it was starting to get late in the morning, so I started heading home. The more I thought about it, I decided that I was too close to Cataract Falls not to check it out, so I turned around and drove there. This is what I found. Recent rains made the falls spectacular, and you couldn’t ask for better color.

Yep. You done good with this one, Jeff.
You have the great, relaxing fall colors and then you have the power of the water to break it up.
    Great shot ! :)
Congrats on the feature, too ! :)

  • Jeff VanDyke replied

Thanks Stan. The river was higher than I’ve seen it in a long time and the colors were amazing. I had not had a lot of time to get out this fall, and I though I was going to be too late for the colors, but it definitely worked out.

Wonderful. Wow, that did have a lot of water flowing, looks like more than when I was there. Must have been a lot of rain there in October

Love the feeling of power in this. Strong image and accented so wonderfully with those vibrant red trees. Nice capture.

Fantastic capture, you can almost feel the force of the water rushing over the edge. Beautiful fall scene.
