Great effort. I have only had one chance at shooting these birds and it was quite friendly with the camera too. Well done. They have such a lovely sound. You took this one in WA, they are a rarer bird near Wagga in NSW. In 2 years of shooting birds, I’ve only seen 1.
Thank you for your comment, I guess im very fortunatethere is about 4 pairs in foxes lair that i have seen so farthis year. cheers rick
I am jealous. I’ve only seen one twice, and neither time did he wait around for me to get a good photo
sometimes they just turn their back to you, then scoot of to another tree or just dont sit still long enoughfor you to focus , they got some attitude also. thank you for dropping by and commenting, appreciate it very muchcheers Rick

It would be a bit hard to hide with that brilliant colour so he/she would have to be a poser. Thanks for adding these photos to the group. The other Mike loves them too.
Michael suprizingly enough many people who walk the tracksin Foxes Lair have never seen this little beauty. I have been stopped many times in my walks to ask what I am taking photos ofthey are sure amazed at the colour. cheers rick
