Gidget by Meg Hart
Gidget the midget came to stay for the weekend, took over Gus’s bed and decided she wouldn’t be leaving. A Jack Russell/Maltese cross, she’s about four months old and the size of sixpence. Gus has been a perfect gentleman with her and she has learned that he is okay and now only puts him well and truly in his place if he gets a bit rough during their playing.
I found Gidget in the local rescue shelter and offered to foster her, with a view to adopting if Gus was fine with it. Well, he lets her sleep in his bed, take his bones and eat out of his bowl when she thinks his dinner might be more interesting than hers. So I guess that’s a “yes” from Gus.

Oh Meg, Gidget is adorable!! No wonder you wanted to keep her. Give Gus a big cuddle from me, for being so kind to her. I am so happy she has found a good home!
Thank you joycee..She was pretty scared of Gus in the beginning..quite aggressive towards him..but he won her over with his amiability. She still gives him what-for when he accidentally hurts her and he backs right off…I gave him your hug. :))
