Who needs to be chasing a lump of fluff around a boring racetrack, when a comfy bed in front of the fire is option number two..?!… Rehomed greyhound, Stacey, came to stay for a week, recently. She belongs to my granddaughter and is such a gentle soul.

Thanks Berns…She belongs to my 11 year old granddaughter, Abby… Although she had impeccable racing credentials (her mother was an Irish champion), she figured there must be more to life than chasing a lump of fluff around a racetrack)..She likes her bed very much but really enjoyed the freedom of being able to wander in my backyard, which is a fenced acre of bush with a small dam, which she and Gus chased one another around and around.

Meg, Stacey is so sweet, greyhounds are such gentle pets, I’m glad she now has a good home.
She is a sweetie, Helen….So easy to care for… although Gus thought she needed a key to wind her up when her short spurts of energy flagged.!..She was very patient with his boisterous overtures. :)
