Spectacular color as the light comes in!!! I’ve only seen a few Gum trees and only in pictures – this is wonderful – I didn’t know they were so Knotted, gnarled and .. well lots of fun! Bet it’s fun to climb!!!! Outstanding catch! xx

My pleasure Meg, and I just realized I hadn’t ticked favourite as I intended. I just love Gum trees, in fact all trees. I developed a love of them from my mother. From an early age she used to take me walking with her friends and always used to point out the trees. When my sisters arrived those lovely times were in the past but mum used to recite a lot and her favourite poem was about a tree.
