Every time we have a decent fall of snow in the south of England there’s a rush to get out and get some wintry photos before it melts again. With this in mind I took a quick diversion on my way to work, spotted this scene and pretty much shot it through the open car window. I had to work fast because as soon as I stopped, the sheep started to walk in my direction and about a couple of minutes later they were all at the fence in front of me!
It’s funny, I’ve planned several trips to take snowy pictures that have been a disappointment over the last week or two, then I literally saw this scene as I was driving to another location and pulled the car over, grabbed the camera and shot it handheld from the car!

This is a very beautiful photograph.
Absolutely stunning capture – love it – a favourite – perfect colour in b/g and such sharp focus on the sheep – brilliant . Liz

Lol, they didn’t just look, they all came over to have a look, a few minutes later they were all right at the fence in front of me!
