Cats on an Old Brick Wall

There were four cats who sat on a wall,
bending and stretching and sitting up tall.

They keep watch on the moon, twinkling so bright,
Four cats on a wall in the dead of the night.

Slowly they slunk off to stalk in the streets,
Looking for creatures and tidbits to eat.

As the sun rises the cats disappear,
The moon is left thinking, were they really here?

The moon will wait patiently every nightfall,
For the four cats who sit on the old brick wall.
