This beach was near enough empty each time we went – only because you had to walk for about 20 -30 mins to get there, but it was so worth the walk, huge expanse of sand and sand dunes and if it’s this empty in August, when does it get busy??

Adding to favourites for reference. I’m trying to take the family next year, these sets of photos are great.
Thanks Paul, it was a great place to go. We managed the walk to Porth Kidney sands in about 30 mins from Carbis Bay, and that was with my 3yr old daughter in flip flops! (she refused to wear anythink else on her feet). We got to see seals around this bay too which was great, if you walk in the other direction from Carbis Bay you can get to St Ives in about 20 mins as well, or you can go onteh train and that takes just 4 mins!.
Thanks for the info Justine, that’s typical of kids (wouldn’t be with them though). I’m going and try and visit that neck of woods next summer with my family.
Very nice compostion and colors, love that blue!
