What a weird and wonderful plant. At first glance, I thoght it was a tube of fabric pulloed over a solid object. Love your macro – the DoF is perfect, as are the lighting and sharp details.

What do I know. I thought this was the making of one of those soft taffy candies layering in ripples out of some machine. Unique and awesome all at the same time.

This is just wonderful….for some reason I thought I had written here and see that I have not! I do apologise, because my intention was such that I have wanted to, the moment I saw it! There is a feeling of great strength in this work and helps one to clear situations and awaken the Soul to inspiration. Would you consider submitting this to my page? Excellent capture, I deal with this plant, and have always looked at this as a fault, never thought of taking a photo. Unique idea, performed perfectly.

Phormium tenax ‘Surfer boy’ ( I think )

I’m sure I was told it was bug induced. Not fatal to the plant, but in Tas, I have noticed it lead to other conditions. But hey wow photo, I will look at this plant with new eyes now, may even steal you idea in the future ( I will credit the original ) ( hope you don’t want royalties lol )
