About This Painting
This image has a similar history to Pronghorn in the Morning .
I did both wildlife sketches at the same time in acrylic on plain sheets of cream stock 8.5×12in.

For this work I layered in a couple more pieces of more recent acrylic paintings to make a background. The artwork is all “real”, and it’s all my own. Reference photograph by my late friend Mavis Davidson, Scientist, NZ Forest Service.
