About This Painting
This view over the bush-clad hills in the Coromandel, on the western side of the Bay of Plenty, has a fascinating, wild wilderness feel about it which is what prompted me to create this painting. There is something about it that truly conveys the evocative nature of many of New Zealand’s wild places.
This mountain range is called “The Pinnacles”, and it lies close to the Kauaeranga Valley in Coromandel Forest Park.
