About This Painting
When I lived in Cambridge (one of the centres of the NZ horse breeding industry) I saw many lovely mares with foals at foot. This painting is a little different: instead of the flat breeding paddocks of the racing industry, these two are on top of a hill, enjoying the breeze that’s blowing up the clouds in the background.
