Mother & Son
This Western Lowland Gorilla and her baby son was shot from 100 feet away. All I wanted to do was get closer. It was starting to rain and she moved into the entrance to her shelter. I consider myself lucky to get this shot.

Thanks so much Crispin. Taronga Zoo. I’ve been back once since, but it was cold and they stayed inside their “outdoor room” all day and I didn’t get one shot. I was amazed at how fast he had grown. He’s not a baby anymore. I wish I lived next door to a zoo. I’m actually leaving on the 28th.July for 12 days in Singapore. You can guess where I’ll be spending most of my days !
