This was a briliant storm to chase & watch, very lightning active. I didn’t realise until I downloaded the images that I’d captured my first stunning clear air cg strike, very exciting for me. Thanks for the comments :D

Wow, Julie that is amazing. We don’t get lightning shows like that in Vancouver B.C. We don’t get that many around here. Mind you we had one last night but just lasted for 2 Minutes and than it was gone.

Shanina, I use to fight the dog to get under the bed first LOL! One way to beat fear and that’s to tackle it head on. I do most of my chasing alone and it can get a bit hair-raising (literally) sometimes. As a stormspotter for the Bureau of Meteorology, I also have a job to do while out in the field. It’s moments like these when I see I’ve made the captures that you’ll see me jumping about yahooing like a right twit lol
