Hi everybody,
My name is Julie Fitzpatrick
I am a watercolour painter from the Surf Coast region of Victoria, AUSTRALIA. I also dabble in creative acrylics on canvas to add flair and
colour scheme to decor.
My preferred subjects are marine animals, lighthouses and coastal scenes, but I am
always exploring new ideas, such as these
modern “splatter paintings” and abstract art.
I studied both the visual arts and biological/
optical sciences at secondary and tertiary
level. I have also won awards for photography
in the pre-digital SLR days! So, I love photography too.
I received formal private watercolour tuition in Melbourne, where I grew up.
My favourite artists would have to be Renoir,
Monet and Van Gogh, however I am constantly
amazed at the modern-day talent “out there”.
I look forward to sharing my images with you
on redbubble!
