Thickly applied acrylic depicting our lovely neighbours’ Passionfruit vine and its amazing huge flowers. None of us have seen any fruit yet but the flowers are wonderful.

I am inspired by organic forms in nature as well as the Arts and Crafts and Art Nouveau movements so I tend towards work which is rustic and linear and colours which can also be decorative and often symbolic.

I love to paint and draw and to see other people’s art and am looking forward to making some connections with others – which is really what it is all about, for me.

Gives wonderful life to the fence. If I ever have a wooden fence like that I will color it the way you have it in the picture :)

  • Thanks Judy – this is my tiny backyard – which I love because I can see everything that goes on in it!! I sort of like this painting but you are the one and only to look or comment upon it…go figure…and yet other paintings that I have put on which I have not liked so much seem to get many comments …art is a strange thing, isn’t it?
