Julia Washburn

Photography is my passion and takes up most of my free time. I love the outdoors; either it is an urban city or wilderness of a National Park I’ll always find something interesting to photograph.

I live in the Pacific Northwest and I find it to be a very beautiful place, and there are a lot of places to see.

In May of 2009 I took a cross country driving trip to Grand Canyon. While on the trip I visited a lot of amazing places – Lake Tahoe, NV; Las Vegas, NV – for its amazing lines and abstract in buildings, and heat; Meteor Crater, AZ; Grand Canyon, AZ; Zion Canyon, UT; farms lands of Utah, Idaho and Montana – unfortunately I had no time for photos there.

While I was on my big cross country trip I totally and deeply fell in love with the South West and the desert.

I’ve been back to Southern Utah several times now. I can’t get enough of that amazing place. Every time I go I don’t want to leave, but I have to. So I come back with hundreds of photos of that awesome place!
