"As You Love"

It was at the end of my ninth day
on my journey to Shamballah,
when my vessel came to rest on a large black rock,
in the middle of the monsoon-filled river.
Everything I had ever done in my life
including the last eight days and nights on the Great River
had brought me, with inescapable precision
to this tiny isle sanctuary.

And here,
protected from even the highest rising water,
sat a beautiful carved wooden temple Ob.
Curious, I raised it’s lid of inlaid emeralds and deep inside
found a three-sided shard of worn parchment.
My breathing quickened,
as I held it in my tired and now trembling hands…

“As You Love…

May your Love be as Innocent as your Breathing.
Knowing only, that as you freely Breathe Love out,
you surely again shall Breathe Love in.

So as you Love, Give Openly of your Love.
Give of the Purity, of the Heart and of the Fullness of your Love.

And as you Give so of your Love, as for naught in return.
Let your Gift of Love be Perfect.
For then, the Love that is Freely given back to you,
the Love that is indeed your Kind Reflection,
will be to your Abundant Pleasure, Innocent and Pure.

And in the Silence that follows
Angels shall whisper softly to your Heart,
Where all Mysteries are best understood,
And the Knowingness of the Heavens
Shall be Yours.”

I returned the faded letter to the safety of it’s darkened chamber
and replaced the ornately carved lid.
My boat slipped back easily into the now star-sprinkled waters,
and I fell into a deep, deep sleep,
dreaming again of Shamballah.

Breathing in. And breathing out.

Breathing in… And breathing out…

Someday maybe I will be able to go back of this state of innocence…
    ...delightful words…
