Artist's Description

Her name was Lady Falconetta. And She was the great, great, great grand daugther of Lady Elizabeth, and Hand to The Queen. Indeed, it was Lady Elizabeth who with rapier in hand, was called to duty in all matters regarding The Queen’s honour or unresolved matters of finance. It was this legendary quickness of hand and eye that was passed down thru the generations and to this day resided fully in the mind and body of Lady Falconetta, who with blinding flashes of tempered steel, ran the reveried Fencing Academy for Young Ladies. And it was in the Grand Salon of this prestigious institution where young ladies of high breeding would learn the fine art of fencing with the rapier, which was the fastest blade in the world of swordsmanship. For generations it was taught that the blade of this quick sword was the extension of the arm. It was Lady Falconetta who changed all that forever when she imparted to her young cadets a knowledge that proved to be far more effective and to the point: “My Dears, the blade is the extension of your mind!”

To be featured in “The Fine Art of Dreaming.”
