Whilst traveling one can’t help but absorb the landscape – in this case a farming landscape and at this particular time of year the incredible colour produced by the canola fields – this juxtaposed with the destructive practice of crop burning.

Julian’s images capture the landscape in its simplest form, breaking it down to an abstract form and colour. These images illuminate the warmth and beauty of the Australian landscape.

Recent works portray the local/rural roadside farming scenes of Central Victoria, again capturing the major forms and attributes of the landscape and condensing into a precise motive and expression.
