Complex Simplicity. To explicate the relationship between the complex and simple elements in life. To analyze in order to reveal its meaning…. I’m a self taught artist, and a lot of my work translates (inner) harmony and calm. I love beauty in its simplest form and my tastes are basically convential or classic – although I also do work that is quite quirky and fun.

My art… For my drawings, I use a mixed media of pastels or graphite and acrylic. With my paintings, I mainly work with acrylic, though I sometimes mix. I use a layered process of creation, destruction, and renewal. Each new layer shows elements of the previous layer, with an end result of unique colour, shape and form. I don’t feel the need to describe or explain my work, I prefer the viewer to make their own judgements through their own eyes, not mine.

My writing… Inspired by life, people & spirit. I find it important to connect with the human mind on a physical & spiritual level and my writings come from my journeys. My realizations. Others are my thoughts.
