Artist's Description

This is different from my usual work, but often we need to go to the depths of darkness before we are able to appreciate and fully see the light. This image is my interpretation of how I feel when the black dog of depression hits. i am the figure on the right of the image, on my knees begging for help as there is choas all around me.
The words of the song that I feel express this the best are One Last Breath by Creed

Please, come now, I think I’m falling
I’m holding on to all I think is safe
It seems I found the road to nowhere
and I’m trying to escape.

I yelled back when I heard thunder
But I’m going down to one last breath
and with it let me say, let me say
Hold me now.

I’m six feet from the edge and I’m thinking
That maybe six feet ain’t so far down.
