My Canadian englishteacher- and expert in wine – once told me he cannot take people serious who cannot hold their glass of wine in the right manner. He grapped a glass and made a "clumsy"gesture. I cannot tell the difference between an excellent Bordeaux or an ordinary table wine myself. The idea for the painting was born immediately – he loves the painting, too.

Goes together with my painting “Red Wine I”.

Red Wine I
by Julia Keil

bottle of wine, figurative, green, portrait, red wine, woman, yellow

Julia is born in Berlin, Germany. Stayed abroad in Norway and Lithuania.
She is self-tought. Julia loves the decorative, colourful, ornamentativ, figurative and handmade oil painting. She likes bright paintings as life has enough sorrow and despair. In art she is free and can create whatever she wants. She paints, because there are more images in her head than she will ever be able to paint. She likes artists who are courageous enough to do the figurative thing.
