Artist's Description

Many of my TtV images have come from a parcel of land not far from my home. Its public land that the government uses to take soil (for building bridges etc) and although I’ve mostly…(mostly) come to terms with turning up every now and then to find where I took some great images a few weeks before now no longer exists sometimes it makes me sad, really sad. These are places I’ve seen wondering dingoes, emu, buffalo and big red kangaroos (we mainly have wallabies this far north so I get a bit excited if I see them). So the image above is another of these, celebrating the ‘land that was’.

This is a TtV image (Through the Viewfinder), using the alternative photographic technique of composing the image through an old twin reflex (argus75) camera and taking the picture with a dslr camera’.
