R.M.S. Segwun and the Wenonah ll by

The R.M.S. Segwun is the oldest Royal Mail Ship in the world which has been beautifully preserved for our present day enjoyment. It is North America’s oldest operating passenger ship and Canada’s last coal-fired passenger ship. Today it is owned and operated by the Muskoka Steamship & Historical Society.

The R.M.S. Segwun along with the Wenonah ll cruise Lake Muskoka giving tourists a thrill of a lifetime as they travel along the waters and experience the smooth ride a picturesque landscape and grand summer homes.

Great capture of these 2 gems Julie. They’ve shared many years of service together, and you caught them superbly. A definite fave for me.

  • Thank you for your favour Ron. We took our cruise on the Segwun and for a brief time I was transported back in time…Jules

Everything Ron said! You’ve done these two photogenic beauties proud, Jules! I’ve been aboard the Segwun, but never the Wenonah; time for another cruise or two!

  • The crusie is well worth the trip. We plan to return next year for the four hour cruise. There’s something about having the sea breeze blowing through the hair. Thank you for your favor Sheila…Jules

Is this the one you went on Julie! Sure is impressive looking! I must do that some day!

  • This is the one Robin. When I stepped on board I felt like I was transported back in time. The only people missing were Hercule Poirot and Miss Marple…Jules
