The Morning Before Christmas by

This is the view I awoke to this morning,

In the past few days there was an ice storm in parts of Canada and the US which brought everything to a halt. As this is the holiday season many travelers have had the added stress of knowing if and when they might be able to get to their Christmas destinations.

Gorgeous capture, Julie! The brick red is like a bow on top! We didn’t lose our power but we brought our widowed sister-in-law here as her power was out. Very stressful for many people! We were lucky! Merry Christmas! :)

  • So pleased you enjoyed my view Rosemary. We were fortunate that we didn’t lose our power as many others we know did for a few days. Glad to hear you were able to help your sister-in-law. Merry Christmas My Friend..Julie

This is a lovely image, Jules, we didn’t get the freezing rain you did there, we got lots of snow. I wish you and yours a Happy New Year.

  • Thank you Elfriede. This certainly has been a year of destruction in our area; we lost many trees back in March because of an ice storm and once again now. Toronto seems to have been hit the worst…Jules
