Hi all!
I’m a watercolor artist and calligrapher, but I love many different mediums. My parents encouraged my art when I was very young, especially Dad who had artistic talent but was told by his father, “There will be no artists in THIS family.”

Because I’ve had physical limitations due to my form of dwarfism, called S.E.D., art has offered me a lot of comfort and joy since I was young. Being born a dwarf was not the curse I originally feared. In time, it yielded many unexpected blessings. What society labels as a “disadvantage” often can become a catapult for creativity, thinking outside the box, and following our true north. The years that I felt mocked and unworthy, eventually taught me to go deep inside and find my strength. I’m a writer and blogger now, as well, and I have a memoir entitled, Nothing Short of Joy (Behler publications, 2010) available at Amazon, Borders, Barnes and Noble etc.

Wayne Dyer, who has been a personal hero of mine, endorsed my book and then invited me to his “Excuses Begone” event in Boston. Then he surprised me by inviting me up on stage—what a thrill! Here’s a clip on YouTube :)
