I’m primarily a watercolor artist and calligrapher, but I love many different mediums. My parents encouraged my art when I was very young, especially Dad who had artistic talent but was told by his father, “There will be no artists in THIS family.”
Because I had some medical limitations as a kid, due to my dwarfism, called S.E.D., I found a lot of comfort and joy through my art. In case you are wondering, being born a dwarf was not the curse I originally feared. In time, it became magic. The years that I felt mocked and unworthy, eventually taught me to go deep inside and find my strength. I’m a writer now, as well, and I have a memoir entitled, Nothing Short of Joy, to be released by Behler publications in March 2010. I’m also the proud mom of two wonderful little boys.
