Well I’ve been uploading some pretty and colourful images for the last week or so and now I’m going to post some more of my dark landscapes again. All of this series will be infrared film images taken a couple of years ago at a friends place in the Hunter Valley. Mostly they will be hills and valley shot to emphasize the skys and will be somewhat abstract for that. I find that I see patterns in nature that are revealed very early in the morning or very late at night which not suprisingly are my favorite times to shoot.

hey thanks darlin man…. this is a pretty old series of work…. the negatives are so degraded…you can see all the spots through the image from were the grain has clumped from being developed in wrong developer…. but I like the feel of the place and its a place I associate with someone I am really really fond of …love even…. so its about him as much as anything…. so glad you like these shots……:)

you true there… and funny how when you work from the art.. it’s the work that’s least recognized… i guess that’s the price of being an artist… case in point for me… is Divine Messenger of EL……either that or i am cycling….. lol

That’s what led to the discovery of fractals, Juilee. The self-similar patterns in nature. They’re everywhere.
