a combo of images shot with a decidedly low tech instamatic camera which uses 126 film…. all these shots are taken in my big back yard which is a pretty special place….. wild and overgrown and filled with exotic flowering plants and trees that desperately need haircuts…
a beautiful combo and your backyard looks great! (I can identify with the low tech equipment too!) – this looks great!
I’ve been having so much fun with these images….. wasting time again instead of doing a material data safety report for Uni….. oh well I just love to make pretty things and find I have no patience for the telly any more…. :)
i luv ur 126’s so different even though they were the norm many years ago! i’d trim ur garden but my luck with cutting palm fronds lately- ie slashing wrist on thurs, means im a cert for self destruction!!
Hey thanks steve…. the back yard at my place is so out of control I just about need a machete to get to the clothes line to hang out the washing…. its very pretty though and the birds love it…. I have a big blue tounge lizard that comes into the house sometimes….. pretty wild….. glad you like the pictures……:)
what did you do to your wrist…. not intention I hope?
I’m liking this series. THe colour tone is great and the textures are really great.
Hi Michael…. thanks heaps for your comments…. this funny little series of work is a bit of a deviation from my more usual style but the off key colours and square format and low tec quality have been so much fun to play about with….. so glad you stopped by for a look……:)
definitley not intentional just miss timing luckily i missed the arteries!phew ! just nicked the tendon, damaged sum nerves, and broke the little bone that it stuck in,2 stitches-but it hasn’t slowed me down just detoured my work 4 a coupla hours!!
Beautiful combination Juilee – the palm framing works a treat.
Hi Geoff…. thanks for your lovely comment….. I’ve had so much fun with this low tech camera….. and exploring the concept of framing images with other images….. really different to what I usually do but sometimes its good to do something different….. so glad you like it…..:)
