I’ve been scanning a lot of old negatives of late and came across of series of images by my late father of this magnificent ocean going liner coming into dock at Port Adelaide at dawn.
beautiful, i love ships, in fact i ran away to see when i was 18 and worked on a liner. And in a couple of weeks i shall be having a holiday on one. These are lovely shots and the colours are amazing, your dad had a good eye for light and form! x
yes there is something so graceful about this behomoth of the seas…. and hey have a great cruise…hope it’s somewhere lovely and warm…..xx
